The Vale of Itchen lodge doesn’t meet for a regular meeting in April, but instead took the opportunity this month to visit Eastleigh Lodge number 8340 who meets at the Eastleigh Masonic Centre.
The host lodge performed a third degree ceremony raising Brother May to the rank of a Master Mason.

After the ceremony concluded, lodge business was conducted and after the lodge was closed the Vale of Itchen joined Eastleigh Lodge at dinner for an enjoyable evening.
Visiting other lodges within the Province, within Grand Lodge or recognised lodges overseas is one way in which Brothers can further enjoy all freemasonry has to offer, meeting new friends on the level of equality and shared values.
